AI visibility

Can AI find your business?

People increasingly ask ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity for a recommendation instead of searching. Those answers are built by crawlers that never run your JavaScript and never see your design. This checks what they actually get.

Paste an address. See what a machine sees.

Public sites only. Nothing is stored unless you ask me to send you the report.

Eight signals that decide whether you get quoted.

01

AI crawler access

Whether GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and Google-Extended are allowed to fetch you. A blocked crawler removes you from that engine entirely.

02

Readable without JavaScript

How much text is in the HTML your server sends. Most AI crawlers never run scripts, so this is the whole page as far as they are concerned.

03

llms.txt

A plain summary written for machines: what you do, who you serve, where you are. It removes the guesswork.

04

Structured data

Whether schema.org markup identifies you as a business, with a name, an address and a way to reach you.

05

Title and description

The lines an engine reuses when it summarises you to somebody who asked about your trade.

06

Reachable by a machine

A recommendation is only useful if the engine can also say how to contact you. Email and phone need to be in the markup, not only in an image.

07

Sitemap

How a crawler learns which pages exist instead of guessing from the links it happens to find.

08

Canonical URL

Which address is the real one, when several serve the same page.

Search is not the only front door anymore.

For twenty years the job was to rank. That still matters, but a growing share of people never see a results page. They ask a model, and the model answers from whatever it could read and trust.

Those crawlers are blunt. Most do not run JavaScript, so a site assembled in the browser can be almost blank to them. Many sites quietly block them in robots.txt without knowing. And without structured data, a machine has to infer what you sell and where you are, which it often gets wrong.

None of this is exotic work. It is the same care that has always gone into being findable, pointed at a new reader. This tool tells you where you stand, honestly, including when the answer is that you are already fine.
