Web development

Code and search work from the same person.

I have been building websites since 2008, freelance and in house, and I still write the front end code myself. Vue and Nuxt most often, clean semantic markup, and Core Web Vitals treated as part of the build instead of a report that shows up after launch.

What I actually do

Front end code and search work, built as one thing.

01

Front end development

Vue 3 and Nuxt most often, with plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript when a project calls for it. Semantic markup, cross browser testing, and image and asset work aimed at a clean Core Web Vitals score.

02

Technical SEO built in

Structured data, clean URLs, and a crawl path planned before the first template is written, so search visibility is part of the build rather than a report that shows up after launch.

03

Conversion testing

A/B and multivariate tests on landing pages and forms, read against real analytics, so changes to navigation and layout are based on behavior rather than a hunch.

04

Site migrations

Redirects mapped, structured data carried over, and rankings watched closely afterward, so a platform change or redesign does not turn into a traffic loss.

Plan. Build. Measure. Iterate.

  1. 01

    Plan

Information architecture and a content map that lines up with what people actually search for, agreed before any component gets built.

  2. 02

    Build

Front end code, structured data, and analytics set up together, in Vue and Nuxt, so none of it gets retrofitted after launch.

  3. 03

    Measure

Search Console, GA4, and Core Web Vitals checked after launch, not just once at handoff.

  4. 04

    Iterate

Small, tested changes to layout, copy, and calls to action, guided by what the data actually shows.

Common questions

Web development, answered plainly.

01What technologies do you build with?

Mostly Vue 3 and Nuxt for the front end. I have also worked inside WordPress, Drupal, and Shopify when that is what a project already runs on.

02Do you handle hosting and ongoing maintenance?

I can set it up, but most clients keep their own hosting and I focus on the build, the SEO, and periodic updates rather than day to day server management.

03Can you fix a site someone else built?

Often, yes. I have taken over builds mid project and cleaned up crawl and indexation problems left behind by a previous developer or migration.

04How long does a typical project take?

A focused landing page can ship in a couple of weeks. A full site with a content migration is closer to two or three months, depending on how much has to move.

Tell me what you are trying to build.

Send a short description of the project, and a link to the current site if there is one. You will get a straight answer on scope, timeline, and whether I am the right fit.
